Abstract

The risks faced by students interested in independent training in the gym, but lacking special knowledge of the organization of the training process, are considered. The main features of training in the gym are identified, neglect or violation of which increases the likelihood of injury. The importance of special knowledge and experience in organizing the training process was noted.

Abstract

The factors influencing the functional state, work capacity and quality of life of people with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) have been systematized. Opportunities for improving the effectiveness of existing approaches to alleviating OCD symptoms are discussed. Emphasis is placed on the relationship between physical activity, psychoemotional state, and work productivity in OCD.

Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of methodological approaches to the assessment of fire risks in railway transport. The theoretical basis of the concept “fire risk”, classification of hazard factors, modern quantitative and qualitative methods of analysis, including ALARP-concept and probabilistic modeling are presented. The peculiarities of risk analysis application for different types of rolling stock taking into account design and operational characteristics are disclosed. Special attention is paid to the application of scenario methods, failure trees and CFD modeling of fire propagation. Recommendations on integration of risk analysis into the process of design and operation of fire protection systems on railway transport are offered.

Abstract

This article presents the results of experimental studies of noise spectra of drilling-milling-boring machines, conducted under the conditions of their industrial operation under various technological loads. This work is devoted to the experimental study of the spectral composition of noise during boring. The purpose of the study is to determine the main frequency components of noise generated by various units and processes of the machine, and to assess their impact on the overall noise level. Depending on the technical characteristics of these machines, when performing work according to the technological regulations, sources creating increased noise levels are determined, these include the cutter, the slider and the workpiece, but the study of the bed can be neglected.

Abstract

The article deals with the current systems of fire safety on the railway transportation of the Russian Federation. The analysis of applied technical solutions, classification of early fire detection and automatic fire extinguishing systems, as well as the regulatory and legal prerequisites for their operation are considered. Special attention is paid to the system integration of devices into trains of different types: passenger cars, electric trains, locomotives. The main disadvantages of the existing practice of fire protection equipment operation are presented, and the directions of further development of systems based on digital and intellectual technologies are substantiated.

Abstract

The article examines the influence of elements of the workplace production environment on the functional state and quality of work of train dispatchers. The key factors affecting the efficiency and quality of train dispatchers' work are analyzed, including concentration of attention, complexly coordinated actions and the presence of errors in monitoring the situation. The article analyzes two approaches to monitoring the environmental parameters of train dispatchers' workplaces, which should become the basis for the development of organizational and technical measures to create and ensure safe working conditions

Abstract

This study addresses the problem of enhancing the reliability of petroleum product supply facilities (PPSF) located within residential areas in the context of risks associated with the onset and propagation of uncontrolled combustion processes. A system-based, multi-component approach to ensuring explosion and fire resilience is proposed, incorporating preventive measures that eliminate conditions for the formation of hazardous concentrations of flammable substances and remove potential ignition sources. The analysis further considers the application of both active and passive fire protection strategies. Particular attention is given to the safety of hydrocarbon processing units, storage and distribution facilities, and railway loading and unloading terminals. The findings include an evaluation of the effectiveness of engineering and administrative measures aimed at reducing incident probability and mitigating potential consequences.

Abstract

The choice of dietary supplements is often based on an empirical approach and ignoring the results of clinical studies. Marketing "magic formulas" or recommendations from other athletes can reduce the effectiveness of training and create health risks. The introduction of the Borghetto research pyramid into modern sports nutrition as a standard for the effectiveness and safety of supplements can scientifically transform an athlete's potential into real achievements.
