Abstract

The article discusses methods and approaches to risk assessment in a motor transport company. The key factors affecting the safety and efficiency of motor transport companies are analyzed, including the technical condition of vehicles, compliance with labor and traffic safety standards, as well as organizational aspects of management. Potential risks are assessed based on various scenarios of fleet operation and external factors, such as changes in legislation, economic fluctuations and seasonal features.

Abstract

This article examines the current legal regulation in the field of hazardous waste management. Particular attention is paid to the circulation of hazardous waste of classes I and II, and an emphasis is placed on the special nature of the problems in this area. The article analyzes international experience in handling hazardous waste and assesses the possibility of its application in Russia. It is proposed to generalize the regulatory provisions currently in force in the state into a single federal law in order to improve the quality of control over the circulation of such waste and, as a result, reduce their harmful impact on the environment and humans. There is also a proposal to introduce self-regulation in the area of hazardous waste management.

Abstract

The article presents the results of a study of the pulsation coefficient of the luminous flux when using fluorescent lamps. An example of the technical use of connecting rows of luminaires to different phases of the electrical network to reduce the level of pulsation in the room is given. The use of high-frequency regulators to reduce such a harmful factor as the pulsation of the luminous flux is explained.

Abstract

The current level of development of solar power generation and its future prospects are considered. An overview of the main types of solar power plants (SES) is presented, and the possibilities of their use in Russia are identified. It is concluded that due to its size and diverse climatic conditions, it is possible to use various types of SES in Russia.

Abstract

The conditions for the development of the biogas industry in Russia are considered. It is shown that the recycling of waste, which is the raw material for biogas production, can be considered as the most promising, environmentally friendly method. Biogas replaces the use of hydrocarbon fuels and solves the problem of energy availability in regions remote from power grids.

Abstract

The article discusses the use of agricultural waste, specifically manure, as a heat source for heating farms and remote villages. It describes the processes of collection, processing, and application of biogas obtained from manure for centralized and autonomous heating systems. The economic and environmental advantages of this approach are highlighted, and examples of heat exchange calculations are provided. The work emphasizes the relevance and potential of using organic raw materials to enhance the energy sustainability of rural areas.

Abstract

This article discusses the main power supply systems for passenger cars. It also analyzes existing autonomous passenger diesel locomotives. The article examines the design of the ASTM 2800/600-1000 U2 traction unit. The article proposes a method for upgrading the existing fleet of passenger diesel locomotives to improve the energy efficiency of modern passenger cars.

Abstract

The article discusses the design features of the hydrostatic drive for the refrigeration chamber fans of a passenger diesel locomotive. The analysis of the hydraulic drive malfunctions is performed. A variant of the upgrade of the standard system of the hydrostatic drive is proposed. The upgrade of the refrigeration chamber fans drive will allow to increase the traction and energy performance of passenger diesel locomotives TEP70BS.

Abstract

The article discusses the need for a systematic approach to ensuring safety in rail transport, where identification and assessment of risks, as well as the implementation of effective measures for their management are key components for reducing the likelihood of emergency situations and protecting the environment and human health. This approach also emphasizes the importance of interaction between all participants in the process to achieve a common goal - safe and reliable operation of rail transport. The authors focus on the use of graphical methods, such as the "bow tie", to illustrate the chain of events leading to hazardous consequences, and the implementation of risk management measures. Using a specific example of an electric train fire, the main causes of the incident are highlighted. Recommendations for preventing fires are provided.

Abstract

The article considers composite coatings in reciprocating motion when the coefficient of mutual overlap is less than one. Cold-cured epoxy diane resin of the ED-20 brand was used as a matrix binder and at the same time as an adhesive. Experimental studies of antifriction composite coatings both in the operating mode and in the stationary mode are presented. The polymer coatings considered can be used in rolling stock units, such as spring suspension, in center-plate units, and impact-traction devices.

Abstract

The material of this article is devoted to the study of the energy efficiency of natural refrigerants when used for the production of cold. The presented material also identifies the factors influencing the energy efficiency of external factors. Based on the results of the calculations, the most energy-efficient and most energy-consuming mode of operation of refrigeration equipment has been determined.
