Abstract
Lifecycle management of complex technical assets plays a key role in determining reliability and operational efficiency. Currently, existing automated control systems (ACS) for monitoring, controlling, and repairing freight rolling stock, in particular, collect information in real time. The sources include infrastructure safety devices, diagnostic equipment in repair shops, and maintenance centers, ultimately generating statistical data on rolling stock usage over a controlled period (month, quarter, year, etc.). Integrated information from these sources is crucial for the owner (operator) and manufacturer of rolling stock for determining and analyzing the aging of the car itself and its components from the beginning to the end of its life. The goal of this work is to develop a lifecycle management model for freight cars based on the development of a unified integrated information database, enabling the creation of a complete "digital twin." This solution also provides information for multivariate analysis, a powerful tool in car lifecycle management. The study confirms the effectiveness of this tool for solving problems involving the unified processing of disparate data stored in various automated control systems. This enables the management of the lifespan of railcars and their components, including eliminating the possibility of critical malfunctions, violations of cargo transportation requirements, and extended downtime for repairs. This model has high potential for application in the railway industry and helps improve the technical and economic efficiency of rolling stock in transportation operations.
