Abstract
The article presents the results of a comprehensive study of working conditions and health risk assessment for locomotive crews engaged in mainline operations. Quantitative relationships between harmful occupational factors (vibration, acoustic, chemical, microclimatic, and biological) and the indicators of occupationally conditioned and occupational diseases were established. Organizational, technical, and sanitary-hygienic measures aimed at reducing occupational risks and preserving the health of locomotive crew members were developed and scientifically substantiated. The socio-economic efficiency of the proposed measures is demonstrated.
