Protection of Individuals from Communication Threats

Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of communication threats to the information and psychological security of individuals in the digital environment. The main types of threats are examined, including cyberbullying, phishing, deception, and consciousness manipulation. Special attention is paid to the psychological mechanisms of manipulative influence, such as the exploitation of feelings of guilt, pity, obligation, and fear. The author describes methods for recognizing and countering manipulation, as well as offers practical recommendations for safe behavior in online and offline communications. The article emphasizes the importance of developing media literacy and critical thinking for protection against destructive information and psychological influence.
