Abstract
The article considers modern and perspective technologies of fire safety (FS) on the rolling stock of railway transportation. The article analyzes innovative solutions - from aerosol and gas extinguishing units to the use of infrared sensors, addressable signaling and artificial intelligence modules. The necessity of transition from traditional threshold systems to intellectualized and predictive complexes capable of predicting the development of emergency situations and managing the security system in real time is substantiated.
