Application of millimeter-band CHMI radars for monitoring the state of railway infrastructure
Abstract
An assessment was made of the possibility of creating an automated radar tracking and control system (ASRSC) for railway infrastructure using millimeter-wave LFM radars for remote sensing and radar diagnostics of railway infrastructure facilities, as well as in determining the most effective ways to use the information obtained to improve train safety, optimize maintenance and repair processes, as well as for increasing the efficiency of railway infrastructure operation.
