Abstract
This article presents the results of research into the development of a unified methodology for assessing industrial accidents. An analysis of statistical data on industrial injuries in Russia was conducted, identifying the main causes of accidents and their distribution by economic sector. The aim of this study is to develop a comprehensive methodology for assessing injury risks, taking into account human and technical factors. The study's results showed that 70-90% of accidents are caused by human factors. The practical significance of this work lies in the development of a methodology for assessing worker competence based on injury risk, as well as proposals for unifying statistical recording of industrial injuries.
